What Is A Method Of Verification Letter?
What is a method of verification letter? A method of verification letter is essentially, a means to an end. This letter will help you follow up with the credit reporting agency, after they say that they “Verified” the disputed item(s). This letter isn’t asking for a second opinion. It is asking for documentation that provides clear evidence, that this debt has been verified and belong to you.
You are essentially telling the credit reporting agency the following: “You are reporting inaccurate information! This delinquency on my credit report should not be there. I demand proof that you went through all the proper steps to validate or refute my dispute.”
You Have The Right By Law To Challenge How The Credit Bureau Came To Their Decision
Because you have the right by law to challenge how the credit bureau came to their decision, why not utilize it? Most american do not understand the importance of that right. The credit bureaus “by law” have guidelines they have to abide by while reporting consumers credit. We will look at two of them below.

In the Fair Credit Reporting Act section 609 (FCRA 609) it states: 609- Disclosures to consumers [15 U.S.C. § 1681g] (a) Information on file; sources; report recipients. Every consumer reporting agency shall, upon request, and subject to 610(a)(1) [§ 1681h], clearly and accurately disclose to the consumer: (1) All information in the consumer’s file at the time of the request
FCRA 611- Procedure In Case Of Disputed Accuracy
In section 611 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA 611) states: 611- Procedure in case of disputed accuracy [15 U.S.C. § 1681i] (5) Treatment of Inaccurate or Unverifiable Information (A) In general. If, after any reinvestigation under paragraph (1) of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or cannot be verified, the consumer reporting agency shall– (i) promptly delete that item of information from the file of the consumer
